Observation Studio is a creative architectural design firm based in Portland, Oregon. Practicing as an exploration, we discover new insights in each project, informed deeply by place, respecting the roots of heritage, purpose and craft. We are committed to collaboration, with clients, builders, artists and engineers, designing through a process of deep observation and conversation, producing well-informed responses. Our goal with each project is to find a richness of experience, connecting the scale of the site to the scale of the hand.
